Diva Challenge Number 41

The Diva Challenge for this week was to use the patterns Jonqal and Opus.  The first picture was my first attempt.  I wasn't real happy about it, so I tried to do it on 6" x 6" paper.  The result was much more pleasing, at least to me.

I'm still new to this "blogging" business.  But in time I shall catch on.  Thanks for visiting.

First Zentangle Class for me

On September 24th, I attended my first official Zentangle class.  There were only four students, but we had a great time.  These are the two masterpieces that I created during class.

 

I will be attending a conference in October to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher.  I'm so looking forward to it!  I'll keep you posted on my progress.

New Things to Cherish

As I start this new blog, I am reflecting on the title.  I've always "cherished life", even when our life gets all "tangled" up.  I'm new to this process, and it may take me a while to learn the different features.  I hope to be posting some of my Zentangles and Zentangle Inspired Art.  Stay tuned for more fun and adventure as we "Cherish Life in the Tangles" together.
